The value per acre represents the net assessed value for FY 2018 of $16,098,562,348 and total acreage of 27,424. The target for this measure is an increase in the net assessed Value per Acre in FY 2017, and is intended to reflect the aim of the City to increase the overall economic vitality of the community and its status as a desirable location to live, work, and play. Therefore, the target for FY 2018 was established based on the Value per Acre in 2017 - $544,671. As such, the target for FY 2018 was to have a Value per Acre greater than $544,671, which the city surpassed by almost $43,000. After annexation, the City's total Value per Acre increased by 7.8%.
