Total volunteer hours include all volunteer hours recorded in the City of Sugar Land volunteer tracking system. A volunteer is someone who donates valuable, unpaid time and effort in support of the City of Sugar Land.
The target is based on performance better than the 3 year trailing average of volunteer hours in the City of Sugar Land.
All monetary donations accepted by the City of Sugar Land, regardless of source. A donation occurs when the City receives the funds or the asset is transferred to the City’s ownership.

The Building Safety Department no longer tracks residential reinvestment due to recent changes in state law, specifically H.B. 852. The Residential Reinvestment measure has been updated with the residential permits measure.
This measure tracks the amount of permits issued by the Department of Building Safety for the addition/alteration of residential properties within the city limits of Sugar Land. Residential addition/alteration permits do not include new home construction.
This measure tracks the dollar value ($) of all permits for the addition/alteration of commercial properties with a target based on Performance better than or equal to the 3 year trailing average.
